CURFEWED NIGHT

The stories in Kashmir are never good either they are ambiguous, disdain or very sad.
Bashrat peer lines are very simple yet true to an extent of brutality.
I recently picked up a book from new friends colony, adjacent to the famous AL-bake with a sole motive of time pass but turned out to be a mind psychedelic revelation.
The book is lavishly unencumbered by jargon.Though the author being a journalist lacks the spice of entertainment.
In fact at times the book seems to be crammed with facts that it is on the brink of swallowing your patience as a reader and you say
"easy boy easy".
But within a split of second you realise that its not the boy's fault. He has seen so much happen in his childhood and his heart is eager to eject every ounce of pus that has been formed over years in the wounds for a reason that shouts you are a Kashmiri Muslim.
There are references that might leave you in tears.
A small incident where a daughter drops her pajama when her father in law asks her to open the window saying "KHOL DO" due to fear of being raped.
There are methods used by Indian army where they rape, kill, slaughter, kidnap and push children with landmine in their hand to jihadi bunkers.
Such is the explanations that it sometimes overshadow the popular and cherished claim of democracy and secularism.
Its beautifully hurtful. The voice of Kashmir seem so powerful that it almost dethrones every voice in you as an Indian and just a misty sense of self consciences is trying to breathe its final moments of
 "PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN".
Truly amazing, sarcastically poetic and very engrossing.
A must read for every humanitarian soul alive in this country that has a state bought for seventy five lakhs called
KASHMIR

hello mr. writer.... i started reading this blog.. very interesting..and samajh bhi aaya (because of a "lightwight" vocab used)..but i gave half-way up...

bcoz... i started getting emotional just lyk u...and to add to this was the last night's terror attacks in mumbai..and OUR MDU XAMS are the latest terror attacks about to come...
and so i diverted from this topic and back to the Operating system design...

i'ld suggest u.. AB PADHAI MEIN ITNA DIMAAG LAGA...POS, MI, ADA aur hume bhi samjha de..

baaki u cant do anything... now i saw a foto on mumbai terror attack wherein a terrorist has a "sacred red thread" on his wrist... that is in hinduism i guess... we also wear it... and he doesnt seem to be a muslim either.
baaki YUKTI is there to help those...in need
So finally... we all are waiting for some blog on mumbai's terror attacks

thanks for dropping by ankur..
so then the very popular saying that every muslim is not terrorist yet every terrorist is a muslim..so what needs to be understood is it is no more for a particualr sect cult ..
yeah sure would like to write about mumbai terror attack but dont ask me to study engg stuff it aint worth it man:)

SO when the hell do u study... and get 80% (or atleast more than 75)... hum poore saale ****** rehte hai and still get to 73% approx...
and how do u study....as well..

PLS TELL ME UR SECRET MANTRA if any... or any special medicine for increasing brain power...

miracle child!! said...

says who mere sessionals mein marks nahi aye hain is bar i have an average of 17in each subjct out of20marks for sessionals ..
and dont worry about marks ...the way you answer the questions is not even related to the marks you fetch so stay cooll..
karm karo fal ki iskhcha na karo..kyunki wo kabhi nahi milega :P:P

well i do agree it's not worth it... BUT u can surely... make out a living by ur hobbies.... a young J.K rowling is probably getting ready inside u(sorry i know only this author...)

anyways... but we or atleast i cant make out a living of that... and filhaal "my duty" (as said by GEETA... do ur duty)is to study for xams... so if u dont want to study these engg stuff.... pls mere liye yaad kar k... mujhme transfer kar de,.... and also ur handwriting bhi transfer kar de... i need it badly...

pay some heed to wat ankur says..
and maybe some day you turn up in hawards and may be go on to become the president of the US ..

well u actually are president :P but lets say it'll be kind of promeotion....

so that you can carry on your dream "FOR THE GREATER GOOD" sort... lol

miracle child!! said...

yeah anuj for ankur i will definitely do it...
and about turning to some university abroad well hat might happen to ...
but about president thing i like it here...indians are much better and smarter politicians so much of politics for even small little things....even politics amongst friends so then you see...my chances are wider here..
anyways thanks for dropping by :)

Anuj Gupta said...

well actaully if we talk about indian politcs.. its not just about how good you are gd's and reasoning.. her we actually dont live in that civilized soiety of your dreams..

India lives in villages and in a village as they say "jiski laathi uski bhains" so i dont think with a strong physique you boast of and with all your so called "intellectual" friends can actually be of much help here..

so its better to face the truth.. and the possibility i suggest you.. also gives you some indirect control on india...

but we shall explore these horizons later.. and now i shall go by ankur's advice and study.. or if you wish to share your secret with ankur plzz count me in as well.

miracle child!! said...

hey anuj maybe u r correct but then ..in case of kashmir the case is very different people have refused to be called indians...why should they
incfact the people coming to rescue their families after death are not from indian government but the militants infact the role has beeen swappped in case of kashmir and that is why it can be correctly stated as "rakshak he bhakshak ban jaye to kaun bachaye""
and ankur is insane and so r u.....padh le warna DS jaise halat ho jayegi :)

i think thats the reason why arundhati roy said after that amarnath land issue that "Kashmir needs independence from india as much as India needs independence from Kashmir". humanrights violation in kashmir had been beyond imagination.

Curfewed Night is not Merely a book this is the realty of the happenings happening in The once purest part of the globe.
this the mirror to the people who cant not visit the Paradise,
this is the shame for those who have the authority in hand but unfortunately they behave like spectators,
This is what we Kashmiries are facing every day & every moment & the world seems enjoying it silently.
